2020 was the year the acclaimed Wavestate took Wave Sequencing to the next level. With version 2.0 of the process, it delivers stunning, ever-changing sound with extensive tactile control. Far from an exercise in nostalgia; Wavestate was designed from the ground up for a new generation of musicians, producers, and composers, with aspects from modular synths, groove boxes, and algorithmic composition.
Wavestate also premiered another innovative concept: Wavestate Native Software (*sold separately, Wavestate users get a reduced price) makes the synth available inside your DAW, with full compatibility and without compromise. Perfect for moving seamlessly between software and hardware.
Now KORG presents the new Wavestate mkII, with extended polyphony (96 stereo voices) and a fresh look. It is fully compatible with sounds and samples from both the first edition of Wavestate, Wavestate SE and Wavestate Native, including many excellent third-party libraries. Updated sound and software (also available for MkI by Wavestate) keep the family fresh and inspiring.
