SRC6MS-BLL (Black Stained Burst Low Gloss) Ibanez Bass Workshop. Multi-scale.
The SRC6 is a bass/guitar in the Ibanez Bass Workshop series. A 6-string, tuned an octave lower than normal-tuned guitar. In other words, sounds like an electric bass, but the 30" neck scale with 42mm neck width at the saddle, makes it as easy to play as any guitar. String dimensions from 024 - 084.
The body is made of Okoume, a tonewood that is a bit warmer and more mellow in terms of sound. The treble is a little softly rounded, but without losing clarity and separation.
To maximize the tone quality, to suit both guitar and bass sound, two Bartolini BH2 pickups are mounted.
The bridge is an Ibanez Monorail, with 10.8 string spacing. Simply described, each string is a stall, stalls that are completely separated from each other. This provides optimal isolation of each string and the strings can vibrate without affecting and inhibiting each other.
