The SR300E is the SR in the Ibanez standard series. The standard series are Ibanez "regular" models, instruments that are a little cheaper without compromising too much on quality compared to the worst models. Instrument for those who want everything that Ibanez stands for, playability, reliability, sound, look and feel, but have a slightly thinner wallet. Instruments that, despite their low price, could easily be accompanied as main instruments on a tour without fuss, basses and guitars that work no matter what level you play at.
The SR Standard basses have been updated with new PDC (PowerSpan Dual Coil) microphones and a new EQ system. It consists of a boost/cut for bass, treble and midrange as well as a 3-way Tap switch for switching between Humbucker-Single-Enhanced Single.
