SDB is a signature model for Sharlee D'Angelo, best known for his place in the Swedish metal band Arch Enemy, but he is also the bassist in the 70's fragrant Spirtual Beggars. Also played with Mercyful Fate and Dismember, just to name a few.
The bass is in Ibanez's classic Iceman shape, a shape that speaks a clear rock language, and that's exactly what Sharlee is. The PFR pickups deliver a sound that goes well with the look, a big, heavy and raw sound perfect for rock and further into harder music.
The bass is equipped with an active 2-band EQB-IIDX EQ, it has approx. 12db boost/cut for bass and treble. Other controls are balance between the pickups and a master volume. Simple but effective. A bass that both in terms of appearance and sound takes its place on stage.
