The Domino is the result of Duesenberg's efforts to create a true P90 in humbucker format.
Back in the 70s, Duesenberg founder Dieter Gölsdorf set out to design a pickup that not only replicated the unique tone of a real P90, but also in humbucker format to make it more compatible with all types of guitars. After long nights of testing, analyzing and compiling all kinds of variations, the result of his studies was called Domino.
We think it's a perfect interpretation of what makes a good P90 pickup.
The Domino serves as a perfect counterpart to our classic GrandVintage humbucker in the neck position on many Duesenberg guitars.
In part, it is also responsible for the typical Duesenberg flexibility in tone, attack and dynamics.
