The MT100 is the result of many years of development and rigorous testing in studios and on major world tours. Inside the heavy duty chassis are specially designed transformers that drive the three channels which have individual tone and volume controls to give total control over the sound.
Each of the three channels is built around individual circuitry and preamp tubes to extend the ability to control each channel's unique characteristics even further. The clean channel is based on the clean channel from the PRS MT15 and is clean, clear and clear. Even the Gain channel is designed in the same way as on the PRS MT15 and delivers heavy, fat tones with strong bass response without, for that matter, getting muddy. The third channel Overdrive is inspired by one of Mark Tremonti's favorite amplifiers and has a versatile gain structure and a midrange that sweeps through the soundstage without being harsh.
With its 100 Watts, the MT100 is an amplifier that delivers a powerful, direct tone where you can add lots of tone without losing articulation. Do you want to add effects such as reverb and delay in the signal chain, the built-in serial effect loop, which is also tube-driven, comes in handy.
