Throughout the ages, Tama has presented a range of different materials on its frames, both pure Bubinga, Maple and Birch as well as hybrid variants of these. The Starclassic Performer is the first in the series with a hybrid body of Lönn and Björk. This combination is appreciated for its powerful sound and the cast rims provide firm and stable tone with good draw when rimshot.
Tama are known for their easily tuned bodies, the SC Performer is no exception, they follow the owner's intentions regardless of whether they are highly tuned single skins or rocking fat two-layer skins.
