OP-Z's main feature is its ability to play each track completely independently of the other. In addition to the pre-programmed sample tracks, you also have the option to record or import your own sample tracks via microphone, headset or USB. The independent tracks allow you to create sequences with tracks that have different speeds, lengths and loops. Let your creativity flow and create sequences that vary in different places in your composition.
Although the OP-Z may first and foremost bring to mind sound and music, the creative possibilities with it are endless. To add more visual creation with OP-Z, there is the app photomatic. With it, you can take photos with your smartphone, or use existing photos you already have in your camera album, and import up to 24 files into your synth. This allows you to easily apply them at different points in your composition and create a visual, stylish effect in sync with the music.
To see the numbers and graphs behind your music in real time, making it easier to balance your instruments, you can wirelessly pair the OP-Z to your iOS or Android device. Thanks to the screen, you get the possibility of touch functions, which means that you can adjust several sliders with effects and filters at the same time - perfect for full control during live performances!
As an additional visual effect to your music, you can connect and synchronize up to 16 light sources through a separate DMX light track. The light track works the same as any track on the OP-Z and you can sync the light to where you want it in the music.
Videolab is a set of tools customized for Unity. Using them, you can create your own or download ready-made 3D animations that you then export into the app. OP-Z makes it possible to sync the animation with the music and play it live.
