ID:CORE V4 offers a number of different sound modes, from pure tones to massive distortion. This allows you to create a variety of sounds to suit different styles of music.
- Clean Warm: A warm and soft tone suitable for e.g. blues, jazz.
- Clean Bright: A bright and clear tone perfect for rock, pop and country.
- Crunch: A rich and full tone for the rock and blues inspired.
- Super Crunch: A powerful and aggressive tone suitable for metal and hard rock.
- OD1: A classic distortion for rock and blues.
- OD2: Modern overdrive for heavier metal and hard rock.
ID:CORE V4 has a number of effects built in, including delay, modulation and reverb. This allows you to create your own unique sounds.
- Delay: Adds a delay to the original sound, also known as echo.
- Modulation: Changes the character of your sound. For example. phaser, chorus, tremolo.
- Reverb: Adds a simulation of room reverberation.
The ID:CORE V4 has a built-in USB-C connection that makes it easy to record directly to your computer or live stream via your smartphone. This is a great feature for guitarists who want to share their playing with others. To play along with your favorite songs, you simply connect your tablet, computer or smartphone via the Line In input. If you then want to practice without disturbing, you just insert a pair of headphones into the headphone output.
