The body has a solid spruce top and sides and bottom in flamed maple and is from Takamine's beloved NEX model which is a slightly smaller Jumbo body, here with a cutaway for easier playing higher up the neck. The maple neck with a laurel fingerboard gives a wonderful playing feel that feels right at home. The model has a built-in microphone, preamp, 3-band EQ and chromatic tuner.
