David Gilmour has used this particular EMG system for many years in his most used red Strata. The DG20 consists of three off-white SA single coils, an EXG Guitar Expander, an SPC Presence Control, and a master volume mounted on a white deluxe "white pearl" pickguard with white knobs.
The EMG-EXG Guitar Expander increases bass and treble while reducing the midrange, which is good for complex chords at louder volume levels. The SPC gives the SA a singing, almost humbucker-like character by boosting the midrange. White pickups, black pickguard
