Whatever you're looking for, you'll find it here. The AS93FM is one of the models in the Ibanez Artcore Expressionist series. A guitar with a traditional 355th piece with a through middle stock. The guitar is very insensitive to feedback/roundabout even at very high volume. A guitar that works well, whether you play it clean or heavily distorted and everything in between. The guitar has a 3-piece Expressionist Nyatoh/maple set-in (glued into the body) neck, a medium thick neck with a round, C shaped, profile. Perfect for both solo and chord playing. The fretboard is bound ebony with traditional Pearl block inlays and binding.
The pickups are Ibanez Super 58 Custom, pickups that combine a soft and nuanced tone with an ability to bite when needed. Works just as well for pure and traditional jazz sounds as for overdriven blues and rock sounds.
