Absolutely wonderful ride!
This was launched in 2012 to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the A Custom series but was such an incredible success that it had to stay & is now part of their regular range.
Purely crass, you could call this an A Custom Sweet Ride as it has all the Sweet characteristics but with the characteristic A Custom sound.
An all-round cymbal that can be used in most musical contexts. 20th Anniversary ride has all the characteristics of A Custom, symmetrically hammered, brilliant finish, medium thin for a balanced sound that is not too loud or too low. If you play with the grape on it, you have a nice ride with a brilliant & beautiful touch. You can also use it as a massive crash or lie & crash comp on it as it has excellent crash properties. It also has a strong piercing bell that is audible but not too intrusive. As the icing on the cake, the cymbal has a cream-white logo with a specially designed anniversary logo.
