An excellent tube microphone amplifier, identical to the RP220 except for the analog meters and gold front. It has been included in several album credits and is in most major studios in LA, Nashville and New York.
It has the smooth yet powerful characteristics that drive vocal tracks forward, warm up any digital mix and provide up to 6dB more gain. The crisp sound quality is achieved by driving the tubes with a high 250 volt plate voltage.
- INPUT: Standard XLR connections, balanced, for microphone or line level audio sources (eg instrument, microphone or mixer).
- OUTPUT CONNECTORS: 1/4" teleconnectors or balanced XLRs are used to connect to your line inputs on your equipment (eg DAT, amplifier or mixer). 30 dB
- MUTATION: This button changes the level of the Output XLR connector only. When enabled, the output level is attenuated by 30 dB.
- PHASE REVERSE: When pressed, it reverses the phase of the output signal by 180 degrees from the input signal.
- Frequency response: 20Hz - 40kHz, with a deviation of +/- 3 dB for mic/line, and 5Hz - 40kHz for instruments.
- Input impedance: 600 ohms balanced XLR, 1M ohms for instruments.
- THD (Total Harmonic Distortion): 0.1%, which is typical.
- Signal-to-noise ratio: Over 107 dB.
- Maximum gain: 48 dB for instrument or line and 70 dB for XLR connections. Indicators:
- There are 2 LEDs for phantom power and 2 backlit analog gauges. Input/output connectors: They are balanced XLR and 1/4" connectors.
