Western guitar with mic, Open Pore finish. Advanced Acoustic Series. Advanced Acoustic Series. Ibanez AAD series....
The body shape is created to achieve high playability combined with a well-balanced and good-sounding sound that "sits" just as well in the studio as on stage, whether playing solo guitar or in an ensemble.
A specially designed XM bracing provides a wide sound and good projection (how the instrument throws the sound). A rich and long sustain that works well both for plectrum and finger playing. The body is solid Okoume which gives a woody, warm, tone that has a smooth and dynamic response when played with the fingers and punchy, high-mid, with clear projection when played with a plectrum.
Getting electronics, preamps and microphones into acoustic instruments is always a compromise with the acoustic sound of the instrument. On the ADD model, this compromise has been made as small as possible by using a very compact active preamp and a newly designed magnetic pickup. to affect the acoustic sound as little as possible. The guitar retains its acoustic tone while having a stable, well-sounding, natural and distortion-free plugged-in sound.
