Spectravox, the newest member of Moog's family of semi-modular products, is an innovative tool for sculpting sound. Simply put, an analog spectrum processor built around a 10-band filter bank, with the ability to create vivid table tones and colorful tonal sweeps on its own, adding resonant depth and psychedelic movement to any external sound.
Plug in a microphone and get a 10-band vocoder with innovative integrated modulation of all filters. As an extension of and exploration of the architecture of a vocoder and filter bank, the Spectravox is both a highly flexible instrument and a signal processor with an extensive patchbay, which is easily integrated into both the small and large studio.
