Thanks to its reduced size and maneuverability, the new EVH 5150III 50 6L6 top is the perfect amplifier for guitarists who want Eddie Van Halen's touring sound, arena volume and performance in a compact format.

Three channels of tour-tested sound suit all styles — detailed clean, subdued overdrive, tight dist and singing lead, and the new dual concentric controls let you match the gain and volume levels. This amp is tuned to meet all of Eddie's touring needs with a full spectrum of sound. Channels 1 and 2 share an EQ (low, mid, high), while channel 3 has its own separate EQ.

All three channels share global controls for presence and resonance, and the amp is equipped with seven ECC83s as preamps and a pair of 6L6s in the power stage. The output impedance is adjustable (4, 8 and 16 ohms), and the bias can be adjusted with a separate control. In addition, it has an effects loop, direct output, and a footswitch with four buttons.
