RG550-PN (Purple Neon) RG Genesis Collection, Japan. The RG550 is the classic, a milestone for rock guitars, from 1987 of Ibanez models, made in Japan.
Body: Basswood (Lind).
The body is made of Basswood (Lind), which is a fairly light wood with an even frequency reproduction over the entire register. This makes it a wood that, in terms of sound, is easy to color in many different directions and get many different kinds of sounds out of it. The even frequency reproduction also makes it very suitable for distorted sounds, it glues the sound together nicely without it being either scattered or indistinct.
Stable: EDGE
The bridge is the Ibanez classic EDGE, a well-proven swing of absolute top quality that has become the model for function and durability of floating bridge. Considered by many to be the market's best lockable swing system. Knife-suspended stable with a fantastically soft and supple playing feel. With a little simple maintenance and common sense handling, it will last a lifetime (our life, not the stable's). Swing arm mount that works with the UTA20 Ultralite Tremolo Arm™
Neck: Super Wizard
The guitar has an Ibanez Super Wizard neck profile, the thinnest and slimmest version of Ibanez necks. Combined with the flat fingerboard, it's an extremely fast and easy-to-play neck, the ultimate neck for fast, technical riffing and/or trick soloing. But the neck is not limited to technical playing, it is of course possible to play everything on it. The obvious choice for those who don't want anything else in the way of their ideas other than their own playing technique.
