The CE24 model was introduced by PRS in 1988 and has since become one of the cornerstones of PRS' wide range. The SE CE 24 Standard Satin has an all-mahogany body and a maple neck with a bolt-on neck attachment. The thin varnish used to varnish the instrument allows the CE 24 Standard Satin to reach its full tonal potential. The microphones, PRS 85/15 “S” have a clear balanced tone with a clear high register and a lower register with a little extra push. To split the humbucker microphones into single-coils, you use the tone control's Push/Pull function. This workhorse offers tone, looks and playability that suits both the beginner and the long-time player at a great price.
