“I feel like we managed to touch on the elusive quality that makes you want to play with this guitar. It beckons you to take it off the wall or out of the case and make music.”

- Myles Kennedy

Myles Kennedy, known from among others Alter Bridge, Slash, Conspirators and of course his own solo career, together with PRS has produced a signature model, all for his needs and requirements. Width has been a watchword when designing the Myles Kennedy model as Myles' needs cover not only rock but also jazz and blues, it is simply an instrument that has the feel of modern rock but has old influences at the same time. It may have twang, but it can still be used as a genuine rock gura.

“This guitar captures the spirit of my favorite older instruments. With that said, since we developed this guitar, most of my vintage instruments rarely see the light of day,” - Myles Kennedy.

The PRS Myles Kennedy Signature Model features a Swamp Ash body, 22 fret fretboard and 25.5" scale. The pickups used for this model are PRS Narrowfield MK's designed to capture the power of humbuckers but with the bite of a Single Coil pickup. PRS has matched these pickups with a 5-way switch, a push/pull tone control that dampens the highest frequencies on the stall pickup so you can get that slightly fatter tone when needed.

"I watched Myles throughout his career alternate between humbucking and single coil sounds without giving anything up on either side. These pickups took us months to dial in, and I think they capture that balance that Myles mastered beautifully,” - Paul Reed Smith

The PRS Myles Kennedy has a steel plate-style stem, Vintage Mechanics, bone saddle and Kennedy's own "Geometric Owl" logo.
