Since the birth of rock, the snap and response you get from a guitar with a screwed neck has been part of the soundscape. These attributes have in turn become a necessity for many musicians as they tell their stories through music.
The CE 24 combines PRS' traditional body construction - with its maple top on mahogany - and a maple bolt-on neck with rosewood fingerboard. The neck features a Pattern Thin profile and satin nitro finish for a natural and inviting feel.
To further maximize the guitar's inherent tone and clarity, the CE 24 comes with PRS 85/15 pickups, designed by Paul to have remarkable clarity in addition to its wide frequency response.
The electronics consist of a volume and a tone control with push/pull, and a 3-position switch for a total of six classic sounds.
The first CE model was introduced in 1988 and offered guitarists PRS design and quality with the added sparkle of a traditional bolt-on guitar.
