The MD-1 is a wire-locked MIDI system with Bluetooth that can be used both as conventional MIDI (DIN-DIN) or via Bluetooth to Mac/iOS devices. The MD-1 transmits on the 2.4GHz band which is approved for use Worldwide.
Latency is under 3ms and the device is powered by the power in the MIDI OUT connector, so no charging is needed before use. The MD-1 is ideal for avoiding cables between e.g. Keyboard and Mac/iOS devices, between Keyboards and sound modules, between MIDI footcontrollers and other devices, etc. With 1 MD-1 you can send Bluetooth MIDI, if you want to use traditional MIDI (DIN-DIN) and you buy 2 sets.
