Warm Audio's WA-67 is a tube microphone and is based on the EF76 pentode tube, has the same smooth and creamy tone as the original, and will be your go-to microphone for vocals, guitar, tambourine, overhang, wind and string instruments and more. Extra fun is that Warm Audio uses custom large-core transformers from Svenska Lundahl in the WA-67.
Can be combined with a WA-73 Preamp and WA-2A compressor for the optimal signal chain.
The capsule is the heart of a microphone
Even when building a mic with premium components, the capsule has to be just right. With this in mind, Warm Audio spent a lot of time recreating the capsule from the original 67 so that it has the same frequency response as the original.
