Danmar Percussion was founded by Frank DeVito in 1970 after playing with some of the biggest names in the music industry such as Frank Sinatra, Elvis, Beach Boys, Sony & Cher, The Monkees and as a studio musician with the Baja Marimba Band to name a few. Frank discovered that many of the commercially made drum accessories did not measure up, so he began to develop his own. This led to Danmar starting up and making Frank's innovations available to drummers.
Today, Danmar manufactures some of the most widely used drum accessories and parts in the world. All products are manufactured in-house in the USA and Danmar Beaters and Kick Pads have become legendary and sought after by professional drummers worldwide.
