A solid design with many different sounds makes the Standard 24 a real "player".
The solid body matched with a glued neck provides a direct tone and a long sustain. When the warm, round tone of the mahogany body meets PRS's own 58/15 "S" humbuckers, there's plenty of clarity and a good mid-range to bring out. The first Standard 24 model from PRS was introduced in 1987 and had its origins in the instruments Paul Reed Smith built in his small workshop before production had really taken off. S2 Standard 24 is there for you and is ready to be plugged in at any time.
