Since the beginning of rock, that distinctive tone from a twisted-neck electric guitar with a lot of attack and bite has been a natural part of the soundscape of what we listen to today.
The CE 24 combines PRS's traditional mahogany body with a maple top along with a screw-down neck that features a rosewood fingerboard. The neck profile is named Pattern Thin and has a thin matte nitrocellulose lacquer for a natural feel.
The CE24 is equipped with PRS 85/15 humbuckers designed by Paul Reed Smith himself for a big tone with lots of string separation. The electronics consist of a volume control and tone control with a push/pull split function to activate single coil mode in both humbucker pickups.
