The AS53 is a slightly simpler model of the more expensive AS models in the Ibanez range.
This without compromising on feel and quality, the biggest differences are on the visual level, simpler inserts and bindings, pickups without covers, etc. An easy-to-play and stylistically broad guitar that works for many different kinds of sounds.
The pickups are Ibanez Infinity R in bridge and neck, a low output pickup with a warm and dynamic sound. They are connected to a 3-position toggle switch with common tone and volume control.
