Featuring the same handcrafted twin 1" titanium coated brass capsule as the T2 - the T1 is a true work ant that delivers incredible results on a variety of sources.
Titanium is 33% stiffer and more than 300% lighter than gold, resulting in a faster transient response, perfect for capturing sources that thrive on attack such as drums, cymbals, hand percussion and upright bass just to name a few applications.
The T1 is particularly outstanding in live environments as a factory-matched pair for overhead or instrument microphone applications.
Handcrafted with the utmost attention to detail, the T1 is built with a dent-free die-cast metal body, metal switches, a robust spring steel wire mesh grill and a premium finish. The T1 is road-worthy, ready to handle the everyday life of touring pros and years of demanding studio use.
With integrated damping pads and low-pass filters, the T1 compensates for loud sources, slightly overwhelming excessive low-frequency hum or proximity effects, providing the necessary extended dynamic range and roll-off needed to tune your sound source.
