Tube-mounted amplifier top of 20 watts with a really good pressure.
The HDRX amps are inspired by one of Jimi Hendrix's personal amps, the same amp he most likely used at Woodstock in 1969.
It was this amplifier that Paul Reed Smith & Doug Sewell who are amplifier designers at PRS had to study in the smallest detail during 2018. Focusing on the sound it delivered, they created the HDRX tops HDRX50 and HDRX100. Now there is a 20 Watt version - HDRX20! PRS has really succeeded in bringing out an innovative, innovative and modern tube top, but which has the sought-after sound that British amplifiers had in the late 60s. The sound has a focused top register but does not become hard and cold, but the warm bottom is there in the sound image. The possibility of dialing everything from a singing vintage dist with a lot of presence to a caressing and whispering clean sound is available.
