An absolutely wonderful 100 watt tube-equipped amplifier top with combined Bass and Treble channels! The HDRX is inspired by one of Jimi Hendrix's personal amps, the same amp he most likely used at Woodstock in 1969.
This particular amplifier was studied by Paul Reed Smith and Doug Sewell who are amplifier designers at PRS in 2018. With the sound the top delivered in focus they created the HDRX top and have really succeeded in producing an innovative, innovative and modern tube top but which has the sought after sound as British amplifiers had in the late 60s. The sound has a focused top register but does not become hard and cold, but the warm bottom is there in the sound image.
The possibility of dialing in everything from a sing-song sound with a lot of presence to a caressing and whispering clean sound is available.
