The 5150® Iconic® Series 40-watt 1x12 combo is powered by two 6L6 power tubes that deliver the tgon from the complex hybrid preamp that has two ECC83 tubes that in turn provide all the tone, power and fat dist the guitarist needs.
The cabinet is made of heavy duty MDF, plywood baffles internally for super tight bass response. Four EVH 12" Celestion® speakers are specially designed for the amplifier and you get a fat bottom, lots of musical information in the midrange and a superb top. The weight is thus a hefty 26 kilos, but it is justified, the 5150® Iconic® Series 40-watt 1x12 equals fat sound!
