Polyphia is primarily an instrumental progressive rock band based in Plano Texas. Weaving technical and virtuosic guitar instrumentation together with hip hop, jazz and R&B influenced productions and grooves, Polyphia has created a truly unique and original sound.
Ibanez has worked closely with Tim Henson, one half of the dynamic guitar duo Polyphia, for many years, and together they have developed a signature model, the TOD.
The guitar is heavily inspired by the Ibanez AZ, and it also features some of Tim's personal touches, designed for his versatile playing style. The TOD's most striking aesthetic feature may be the fretboard inlay design, which Tim has dubbed the "Tree of Death". The name and design are both nods to the iconic Ibanez "Tree of Life" inlay design, but with a twist.

The neck meets the body with Ibanez's new Super All Access Neck Joint, which is a further development of their well-proven All Access Neck Joint.
SAANJ makes the entire neck extremely accessible without cutting too much wood and starting to have a negative effect on the tone.
The Ibanez T1502 Tremolo Stand is a further development of the GOTOH 510, one of the world's most popular non-locking stands. Ibanez thought "is this the best out there or can it be improved?", and it did.
