RGRTBB21 is a matte black baritone guitar in the Iron Label series.
When we say black, we really mean black, everything on the guitar is jet black. The model has a 28" (712 mm) scale and comes tuned in B from the factory. An RG shaped thoroughbred riff machine!
Ibanez calls the series "Iron Label - metal to the core" and that is exactly what the Iron Label series is all about, guitars optimized for what modern metal demands from a guitar. The heaviest sounding guitars out there. Having said that, it's obviously not the case that the guitars implode if you play anything other than metal on them, you can play anything on them.
The basis of the series is Ibanez classic RG and S models that have been developed and modified to become Iron Label - metal to the core. They are available in 6, 7 and 8 string models and all come equipped with US made EMG or DiMarzio pickups. The series includes models with both fixed stalls and swing.
Body: Nyatoh
The body is made of Nyatoh, which is a fairly light wood with an even frequency response across the entire register. This makes it a wood that, in terms of sound, is easy to color in many different directions and get many different kinds of sounds out of it. The even frequency reproduction also makes it very suitable for distorted sounds, it glues the sound together nicely without it being either scattered or indistinct.
Stable: Mono-rail.
The stable is a Mono-rail
