The J. Custom series is Ibanez' flagship. Värsting guitars where nothing has been spared. Built in Japan with the best materials you can find and by a team of Ibanez's best and most experienced instrument builders. Wood, hardware, precision and craftsmanship at the absolute top level!

The result is instruments that both play and sound like a dream. Whether in the studio, on stage or as a practice tool, they pave the way for your creativity and allow you to express yourself at the peak of your ability. They are instruments that accompany you on a world tour with a smile, several laps around the globe, and beg for more beating as they only get better the more you play them. Guitars that hold tune, are stable, durable and sound the way you want, night after night. J. Custom becomes your safe point that always delivers whatever you expect. If you have a bad night, it's certainly not the instrument's fault. The Ibanez J. Custom is for you who want the best, without compromise!

The RG series The RG is undoubtedly the model that Ibanez is best known for, undoubtedly the ultimate rock guitar. A guitar that started a school for how a rock guitar should look and be equipped. Features such as extremely easy-to-play and fast necks, solid cut-away for access to the highest frets, swingarms that are recessed in the body and keep the tuning even if you walk on them and pickup combinations with many sound possibilities, etc. are what everyone expects a rock guitar to be have after the RG model came on the market.

But the RG is also so much more than just a rock, for many years now it has been the first choice for guitarists who want playability, reliability and breadth in an instrument of the absolute highest quality.

A guitar that can handle whatever you use it for and that can keep up with your pop gig in the morning, your jazz gig at lunchtime and the fusion playing in the studio while you wait for the dance band studio job to start before heading off for the evening's metal gig for to then continue to a smoky blues jam until the wee hours. Whatever you play, the guitar will deliver what you need.

Mahogany is a wood with sound characteristics on the warmer side with a clear and prominent mid-range. Maple, which in addition to often looking absolutely fantastic, has a prominent, clean and snappy treble. Often to the point that a body entirely in maple becomes too bright. But the combination of mahogany and maple gives you fantastic sound properties where the different types of wood complement each other perfectly. A classic wood combination.

The guitar has an Ibanez Super Wizard HP neck profile, the thinnest and slimmest version of Ibanez necks. HP stands for it being a refined and further developed version of the old Super Wizard neck profile. Combined with the flat fingerboard, it's an extremely fast and easy-to-play neck, the ultimate neck for fast, technical riffing and/or trick soloing. But the neck is not limited to technical playing, it is of course possible to play everything on it. The obvious choice for those who don't want anything else in the way of their ideas other than their own playing technique.

The bridge is Ibanez's fantastic Lo-Pro EDGE, a well-proven top-quality rocker that has become the model for function and durability of floating bridges. Considered by many to be the market's best lockable swing system. Lo-Pro is a lower version of the classic EDGE. Knife-suspended stable with a fantastically soft and supple playing feel. With a little simple maintenance and common sense handling, it will last a lifetime (our life, not the stable's). Swing arm mount that works with the UTA20 Ultralite Tremolo Arm™.
