The AS73 is a rock/blues/fusion/rockabilly guitar in traditional wood with a thinner body in 335 wood with a through middle stock. A visually discreet guitar that suits almost any style of playing.
The pickups are the Ibanez Classic Elite, a dynamic pickup with a fat bottom, which is well suited for all kinds of sounds up to a reasonably overdriven level. The whole construction, the body and the pickups, means that the guitar thrives best on clean to semi-distorted sounds. But also works further up to more difficult levels without getting circular spat. You can easily achieve a standard around jazz lead sound without it becoming fuzzy and unfocused or a warm accompaniment sound without losing tonal separation. The pickups have a ceramic magnet.
The mics are connected to a 3-position toggle switch and have separate volume and tone for each mic.
