The AF95 is one of the models in the Ibanez Artcore Expressionist series, guitars that are fully optimized to suit jazz guitarists. Factory honed D'Addario Jazz strings, medium narrow frets and traditional look, The guitar has a 3-piece Expressionist Nyatoh/Maple set-in (glued into the body) neck, a medium thick neck with a round, C shaped, profile. Perfect for both solo and chord playing. The neck meets the body at 14 frets. The fingerboard is a bound ebony fingerboard with traditional Acrylic block inlays and binding. The body is completely hollow (no middle log), 70mm thick at the string holder attachment and is built of spruce in the top, sides and bottom.
A construction that provides a warm and lively sound with good separation. The pickups are the Ibanez Super 58, a pickup that combines a soft and nuanced tone with an ability to bite when needed.
