The BTB866SC is one of the Ibanez concept series "Ibanez Bass Workshop". A 6-string electric bass with a body and neck made of maple and walnut. The unique shape of the body, with the upper horn integrated with the neck, right up to the 12th fret, provides stability and sustain of a rarely seen kind. The 35" scale of the neck in combination with the Bartolini pickups also contributes to a heavy, more stable and mustier sound. Especially in the lower registers.
For comfort and extra access to the higher frets, the body is cut out and sculpted on the back.
