The Byzance Foundry Reserve 22" ride, like its smaller siblings, has extensive hammering and core sound with a shimmering top register. But the 22" has slightly more depth and stability. The attack is clear with full log feel that is not lost at higher tempo or stronger playing. The reverberation is controlled so even if it offers a delicate shower of sparks, it does not lie like a ringed sound carpet over the entire soundscape
