DD2420 Italian Leather ClipLock

DiMarzio Cliplock is a series of shoulder straps that have taken strap lock solutions to a whole new level. For guitarists and bassists who stand up and play, the risk of the shoulder strap slipping off the guitar's shoulder strap knobs, but resulting in the instrument sliding to the floor, has always been a problem.

You screw two shorter pieces of the shoulder strap where the shoulder strap knobs sat on your instrument, two different sizes of screws are included to match the ones that were there before. The shoulder strap is then attached to the "pieces" with solid clicks in/clicks out of bayonet-type fasteners. You can therefore easily remove the shoulder strap from the instrument if, for example, you think it is in the way when you sit down and play.
This click in/click out can be used as a solution to a problem that all guitarists (and bassists) who drive wireless have encountered, how to solve the problem with their bodypack when changing guitars.

With the Cliplock shoulder strap, it is easily solved by attaching your bodypack to the part that hangs over the shoulder, if you then want to change instruments, you just unclip the one you are wearing (and the shoulder strap and bodypack remain hanging over the shoulder) and clip it there instrument you want to switch to. It only takes a couple of seconds to do.

You can of course do the same operation with normal shoulder straps, chop them off from the shoulder strap knobs and change the instrument, but then you are back to square one, that the shoulder strap can come loose and the instrument roll backwards.
