A radical UA design that combines the retro warmth of tubes with the bite of solid-state. Mix the two for an endless supply of unique preamps. The 710 is designed to provide the tonal flexibility and sonic inspiration missing from other mic preamps.
Like many of Universal Audio's previous microphone amplifiers, the 710 also has dual gain stages, which gives you full control over how hard you want to push the preamp to emphasize a warm distortion or simply get an enormously high output volume.
With the stepless "Blend knob" you can easily and flexibly vary between tube sound or solid-state, or any of the various possibilities between the two modes.
